Mexico › Komon A'tel, Construyendo espacios de diálogo en San Juan Cancuc 2.0
The Alianza Crecer Juntos Sitalá: A Path Toward Self-Management (Komon A’tel 2.0) project aims to improve living conditions in Sitalá, Chiapas and promote community self-management. Through the Alianza Crecer Juntos Sitalá, an alliance of eight NGOs, the project strengthens families and municipal structures to address health, water, communication, and income generation while linking local action with state and national agendas. By supporting midwives, health promoters, youth, producers, and community leaders, the project advances the right to health and water, fosters economic opportunities, and builds platforms for collective advocacy such as Tsoblej, a municipal dialogue and coordination space.
